1. 앱이 하는 일
PetCare SmartCam은 집에 둔 펫케어폰(공기계) 스마트폰의 카메라·마이크로 반려동물을 살피고, 허용한 주인폰으로 영상·소리를 실시간 전송하며, 잔잔한 음악과 주인 목소리로 반려동물을 안정시키는 기능을 제공합니다. 반려동물 돌봄 목적으로만 사용해야 하며, 사람을 몰래 촬영하는 용도로 사용할 수 없습니다.
2. 처리하는 정보
- 카메라 영상·마이크 음성: 펫케어폰에서 촬영하여 사용자가 승인한 주인폰으로만 P2P(WebRTC) 방식으로 전송합니다. 운영자 서버에 저장하거나 수집하지 않습니다.
- 주인폰 마이크 음성: "누르고 말하기" 버튼을 누르는 동안에만 펫케어폰으로 전송됩니다.
- 소리·움직임 감지: 기기 안에서 소리 크기와 화면 변화량만 계산합니다. 소리나 영상을 분석 목적으로 외부에 보내지 않습니다. (AI 동물 인식을 켜면 인식 모델을 인터넷에서 내려받아 기기 안에서 실행합니다.)
- 사진·녹화 파일: 사용자가 직접 저장을 선택한 경우에만 사용자 기기에 저장됩니다.
- 녹음한 목소리·음악 파일: 주인폰에서 녹음한 짧은 목소리와 사용자가 고른 음악 파일은 주인폰과 펫케어폰의 기기 내부 저장소에만 보관되며, 두 기기 사이에 P2P로 직접 전달됩니다. 운영자 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.
- 사람 자동 가리기(선택): 켜면 펫케어폰이 화면에 사람이 보이는지 기기 안에서만 분석해 주인폰으로 가는 영상을 가립니다. 분석에 쓰인 영상은 저장하거나 외부로 보내지 않습니다.
- 설정·허용 기기 목록·연결 코드·PIN: 기기 내부 저장소에만 보관하며 외부로 전송하지 않습니다. 회원가입과 계정은 없습니다.
- 연결 중계 정보: 두 기기를 연결하기 위해 연결 코드, 네트워크 주소(IP) 등 연결 정보가 공개 시그널링(중계) 서버와 STUN/TURN 서버를 거칠 수 있습니다. 영상·음성 내용은 포함되지 않습니다.
- 광고: 무료 제공을 위해 Google AdMob 광고가 표시될 수 있으며, 이 경우 Google이 광고 식별자와 기기 정보를 처리합니다. 자세한 내용은 Google 개인정보처리방침을 참고하세요. 카메라 역할(펫케어폰) 화면에는 광고를 표시하지 않습니다.
3. 이용 목적 및 보관 기간
위 정보는 앱 기능 제공(실시간 영상, 놀이, 알림)에만 사용하며, 앱을 삭제하거나 앱 데이터를 지우면 기기에 저장된 설정이 함께 삭제됩니다. 운영자는 영상·음성을 보관하지 않습니다.
4. 제3자 제공 및 위탁
운영자는 이용자 정보를 제3자에게 판매하거나 제공하지 않습니다. 연결 중계(PeerJS 공개 서버, STUN/TURN)와 광고(Google AdMob)는 서비스 제공을 위해 필요한 범위에서만 이용됩니다.
5. 권한 안내
- 카메라·마이크: 펫케어폰 역할의 영상·소리 송출, 주인폰 역할의 "누르고 말하기"와 목소리 녹음에 필요합니다.
- 화면 켜짐 유지: 장시간 모니터링 중 화면이 꺼지지 않도록 합니다.
- 알림: 감지·배터리·발열 경고 표시에 사용합니다.
6. 이용자의 권리와 보호 조치
- 모든 접속은 펫케어폰에서 승인해야 하며, 4자리 PIN으로 추가 보호할 수 있습니다. 연결 코드를 타인에게 공유하지 마세요.
- 송출 중에는 펫케어폰 화면에 "시청 중" 표시가 나타납니다.
- 설정에서 허용한 기기를 언제든 초기화할 수 있으며, 앱 삭제로 모든 로컬 데이터를 지울 수 있습니다.
7. 아동
이 앱은 만 18세 이상 성인을 대상으로 합니다. 아동을 대상으로 하지 않으며, 특히 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.

1. What the app does
PetCare SmartCam uses a spare phone's camera and microphone at home to look after pets, streams video and sound live to an owner phone you approve, and soothes your pet with gentle music and your voice. It must be used only for pet care, never to secretly record people.
2. Data we handle
- Camera video and microphone audio: streamed peer-to-peer (WebRTC) only to the owner phone you approve. It is not stored on or collected by our servers.
- Owner-phone microphone: sent to the pet-care phone only while you hold "Push-to-Talk".
- Sound and motion detection: only volume and frame-difference are calculated on the device. Nothing is sent out for analysis. (If you enable AI recognition, a model is downloaded and run on the device.)
- Photos and recordings: saved to your device only when you choose to save them.
- Recorded voice clips and music files: short clips you record and music files you choose are kept only in on-device storage on the owner phone and the pet-care phone, and travel directly between the two devices (peer-to-peer). They are never sent to our servers.
- Auto-hide people (optional): when turned on, the pet-care phone checks on the device whether a person is in view and hides the video sent to the owner phone. Frames used for this are never stored or sent anywhere.
- Settings, approved-device list, connection code, PIN: kept only in on-device storage and never transmitted. There are no accounts.
- Connection relay data: to connect two devices, connection metadata such as the connection code and IP address may pass through a public signaling server and STUN/TURN servers. Video and audio content is not included.
- Ads: to keep the app free, Google AdMob ads may be shown, and Google processes advertising identifiers and device information. See Google's privacy policy. No ads are shown on the camera-phone screen.
3. Purpose and retention
Data is used only to provide app features (live video, play, alerts). Uninstalling the app or clearing app data removes locally stored settings. We do not retain video or audio.
4. Sharing
We do not sell or share your information with third parties. Connection relay (PeerJS public server, STUN/TURN) and advertising (Google AdMob) are used only as needed to run the service.
5. Permissions
- Camera / microphone: for streaming from the pet-care phone, and Push-to-Talk and voice recording on the owner phone.
- Keep screen on: prevents the screen from turning off during long monitoring.
- Notifications: for detection, battery and overheating alerts.
6. Your controls and safeguards
- Every connection must be approved on the pet-care phone and can be protected with a 4-digit PIN. Do not share your connection code.
- A "Watching" indicator is shown on the pet-care phone while streaming.
- You can reset approved devices at any time, and uninstalling the app deletes all local data.
7. Children
This app is intended for adults aged 18 and over. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children, including children under 14.
